What we record, and how to stop it.

When you email us

A message to hello@thailandvisahelp.com reaches us with whatever you put in it. We use it to answer your question and read your case, and we do not pass it to anyone else without asking you first. Ask us to delete the thread and we will.

When you send a request

The request form asks for your name, a phone number or messenger handle, and an optional note about your case. It goes from our server to a Telegram chat that our manager reads, along with the page address. Telegram keeps the message on its servers. We use it to answer you and nothing else.

Analytics

Pages on this site load Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager, and Yandex Metrica including its Session Replay recording. They store cookies and log the pages you view, the referring site, device, browser and a rough location from your IP address; Session Replay adds scrolling and clicks. We only read the totals, to learn which guides people actually use.

Google may process this data in the United States. Yandex Metrica belongs to Yandex LLC and processes data in Russia.

Turning it off

A notice appears at the bottom of the first page you open. Browsers set to a European (EEA, UK or Swiss) time zone load nothing until you press "OK". Anyone can press "No thanks" to keep both counters off. The answer is saved in your browser only.

Server logs

Our host keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, browser) so the site can run and be protected from abuse.
